best vision/dental and health insurance for seniors?
Question by : Best health insurance company for seniors? Any Suggestions?
My mum’s 64 and would like to buy health insurance in USA. We would like to know which is the best company to go with?
Thank you for your input in advance.

USA is big place. There are 1300 insurance across the country and none of them operate in all places. Therefore, any company suggestion you may get here may not be available where your mum lives.
She needs to visit a local agent that works with all of the major companies in her area. The agent can find the best plan for her situation and budget and can explain how the plans work. There is no extra charge using an agent.

As a senior citizen, you may find yourself in a health insurance crisis – no longer covered by an employer’s health insurance policy but needing health insurance more than you ever did before. Of course, Medicare covers some of your medical expenses, but how can you get the best rate on health insurance to cover the gaps Medicare leaves?
What Medicare Covers
Once you are 65 years old, you’re eligible to enroll in Medicare. Medicare can include several programs:
* Medicare Part A, which helps cover inpatient hospital care, nursing home care, hospice care, and some home health care. Most people pay for this coverage through taxes, so they do not pay a deductible or monthly premium.
